How do I keep windows from auto playing my game in the cd
drive everytime I start up windows?

Click on START, MY COMPUTER, right click on the CD Drive, click on
Properties and click on Autoplay. You should be able to manipulate it from
there.

Hold down left shift until the cd light stops flashing.

Unless you want to disable the Autoplay setting, simply remove the CD from
the drive when you need to start or restart the system.
