Office 97 is a very old program. You need
to consider buying Office XP for Windows XP.

Jim: I will pass on to you the same as I passed on to another:
I run XP_Home.
My installed software is: MSOFFICE_Premium, which includes word, Excel,
MSMONEY, Also: Lotus 9.6 and many other products. All are doing just fine,
with no
compatibility problems.
I even run an address book designed for Windows 3.1/win95, by "Parsons
Technology".
Just be sure to read and follow each product's installation closely and you
should have no problems. "I can't stress the "reading" part strongly
enough. Good Luck.
