View Full Version : Wierd Frontpage Problem

Hello,
I am running Win XP Pro and have a recent annoying problem.
When I start using Microsoft Frontpage the Windows Installer Box appears
asking for the Windows Front Page CD, maybe this is because I have something
setup to run from the CD, funny thing is it has only just started happening
previously when I used Frontpage this never happened.
The other problem is that the installer has also appeard when I start other
applications, such as Microsoft Word, I have put up with it so far but I
just started TweakXP and it happened again.
What the heck is going on and how do I correct it?

Hi Bill,
Sounds like it is set for some components to install on first use, which is
why you are prompted. Best thing to do usually is to simply insert the CD
and let it install.

Everything seems to be setup as installed onto the HD?

Hi All,
I have seen this happen if this isn't the original profile the software was
installed in. Either way, run the edits on line 171 and 286 (right hand
