Just installed XP. When I copy my old data files to the new system, it changes the dates to today.
This is bad.
How can I get it to keep the old file dates and time?
Frustrated in New Jersey.

They should have 3 dates - Created, Modified and Accessed listed in their Properties.
THey do have the three dates, but the "date modified" is not the date modified, but the date when I transferred it to the data drive.
Its only me

No, I did not modify the file. I copied it. That is different.
