Wireless network printer problem

Just set up a wireless network between a laptop and
desktop both running XP Professional. I am unable to
connect to the desktop's printer (USB) through the
laptop. Under 'Add printer' the networked computer is
displayed, but the USB connected printer is nowhere to be
found. Any suggestions? Thanks!
