I have two cpu's network...plus my xbox with a linksys
router and modem. I have bypasses the router so I think
the problem is a service or another glitch. Every time I
reboot my network connection read (invalid
ip...0.0.0.0...subnet 0.0.0.0. Three hours online with a
tech who told me to replace the nic card. I figured out by
my self how to bypass this...by going to (TCP/ip)internet
protocol > properties > general > use the following ip and
inserting any combination of numbers. That
right ...doesn't matter what I enter. Then I close out
both box and right back to the general tab and change them
back to obtain an ip and obtain dns. As soon as I do this
it starts sending packetsand receiving them. Every day I
have to do this.....any one know what the problem is?
Thank you ahead!!

Are you using your router as the DHCP server? Set up router like that with
DHCP enabled on pc's and give that a try.
