I want to transfer Files & Settings from my Old to my New
PC using the Tranfer Wizard of Win/XP/Pro.
The Wizard cable connection instructs to use a direct
cable that connects the computers via the serial ports.
Can I connect the computers using the USB or Network ports
with the opropriate cable in place of the Serial cable.
Please reply by e-mail.
Thank You.

You can use Highspeed parallel or USB cables for file transfer. This is more
faster than a serial cable.

Another alternative is to use a crossover NIC cable if both computers has
network card
