I have a PC running WinXP Pro running an engine test cell. Periodically during testing the
monitor goes into standy mode. I have disabled all the power saving options via control
panel and looked to see if there was anything that could be chaned in the bios.

Still no joy, the image fades away unless I'm quick on the mouse. How do I overcome this ?

Is it an option within the monitor controls itself? Don't know why it would
be duplicated there though, as it is already in most bios settings and also
in the O/S.

Look in the display properties/screensaver tab/power options
button.
