View Full Version : Import/Export in Outlook 2002

Since upgrading from Win ME to XP Professional on my main
computer, I'm unable to import the outlook.pst to a laptop
on my home network as before. The laptop is still on Win
ME. I like to import the Contact list to my laptop,
rather than having to remember to type in
changes/additions to the Contacts. I get a message that I
don't have access to the file. My main computer is not
set up with a password.

Hi Patty,
You may need to check the share settings on the folder housing the Outlook
files. In the meantime, for the address book, why not just export it as a
..csv file on floppy and import it the same way on the XP machine?

>Will exporting the .csv file from the Win XP machine to
a floppy; then exporting the .csv file onto the Win ME
laptop give me the same information to update the Contact
list in Outlook 2002 on the Win ME laptop?
