Hi,
I have a computer that has a partioned hard drive (C:\ and
F:\). I am trying to set up Windows to automatically kick
over to the F:\ drive once the C:\ is full. Is there a way
I can do this so that I don't have to keep clicking the
Save In drop box? I have looked everywhere, and can't seem
to find the option for this. I'm running Windows XP.
Thanks,
Chris

You don't want your c:\ (boot?) drive to fill up. Best to keep several
megayte's free at all times on the boot drive. Often in application
programs, e.g. Word Tools | Options | File locations you can change the
default drive and folder location that appears when "save"'ing.
If your boot drive is very nearly full up, uninstall a program or two and
install onto your 2nd drive, or move that huge photos folder onto your other
drive etc..

....you could also relocate pagefile.sys onto your 2nd larger drive to free
up a lot of space on your boot drive.

What the heck are you using your computer for that you want to
automatically cycle through drives to save files?
Even if some guru shows you a way to get that to work...
I don't think that would be a good idea. Mainly because I don't think
that you should ever completely fill your primary hard drive where the
OS is contained AND because I don't think that you should dump files
all into the root directory of your secondary drive.
