I had no problem in Millenium watching video on my tv
through my laptop. I would hook it up, go to
display/settings/advanced/monitors....and I would set my
tv as the primary monitor and disable or turn off the
laptop screen (If I didn't the resources needed were too
much to run a dvd on the tv and my laptop) When I
disabled the laptop screen, it would go black and I could
navigate through the tv and watch the dvd through my
laptop. Now on XP, I don't seen that same screen. I can
get the picture and run programs on the tv but when I
tried to play a dvd, the resources were too much again.
I cannot, however figure out how to turn off my laptop
screen and run only the tv. The same menu with the
multiple monitors doesn't appear in any of the windows of
the display settings. I have tryed tinkering with the
monitors section, but I have no idea how to turn my
laptop screen off and run the dvd through the tv in
XP...Surely it is easier than Millenium which was a snap.
