ME to XP Upgrade

When I upgrade all my files and folders are OK except in Outlook Espress -- those disappear! They return when I un-install XP. I've done this three times!! What's next?

If you were using OE 5 or higher before, search your hard drive for
Inbox.dbx
(If you are using Win2K or WinXP you will have to set the search to include
hidden files and folders.)

If you find two copies, use OE's File | Import | Messages | Microsoft
Outlook Express 6 and choose to import from an OE6 store directory. Browse
to the folder holding the older Inbox.dbx.

Hi Steve:

Thanks for the link to #313055 -- it looks like it will solve my problem. One question; I had upgraded my Win-ME to OE-6 and the folders I'm trying to save came from OE-6. #313055 discussed importing from OE-5.5 or earlier. Am I correct in assuming that it
will work with importing/converting from OE-6 also??

You do NOT need to re-install.
The location of the email has changed for Windows XP.
Do a search for *.dbx files (they will be probably somewhere in
c:\documents and settings\)
