View Full Version : Can't delete folders until reboot

Using XP Pro
Every once in awhile I might do some stuff (read - unzip - install
something) in a folder and then want to delete it or move it or rename it.
Up pops a message that the folder is still in use and to close whatever is
using it. I've tried closing everything that can be closed in the task
manager, but no matter what I might do I cannot close, move, or rename the
folder. - All the contents might be moved and I am left with an empty
folder or subfolder - of course the parent folder has same problem.

After I reboot I can move delete or rename just fine.

Anyone know why this happens and how to fix it so it doesn't happen
anymore?
