HELP!!!
I lost my job last week so I'm emailing resumes to prospective employers.
Here's the problem: Although I'm using Office XP's version of Word, some
people are unable to open up the resume that I am sending as an attachment.
I've emailed it to another PC I can use that has Word 2000, and there's no
problem. I email it to myself on my PC with XP, and again no problem.
Yet, others can't read it and it appears to be hit or miss.
Any ideas? I'm afraid this might cost me a job offer!
Thanks in advance,
Ron

Greetings --
Word 2002 will allow you to save your resumé in the formats used
by earlier versions of Word. I'd suggest that, in order to ensure the
widest possible compatibility, you save the file as a Word 97 format
before forwarding it to prospective employers.

Save the document as .rtf file.
This should keep most of the format and be readable on any computer.

My advise is as-is.
