I have Windows Messenger 4.7 installed. A week ago MS sent message to
update to 5.0...I upgraded and then had 2 icons in system tray...one
connected and one not connected.
I uninstalled 5.0 and ended up with 2 icons in system tray...uninstalled
and reinstalled several times...could not get rid of one of the icons.
Uninstalled 5.0 and reinstalled 5.0 and ended up with 2 icons in system
tray of 4.7...uninstalled WM from add/remove programs and ended up with 4.7
STILL IN MACHING but NOT showing up in add/remove programs. Not even in
add/remove WIN XP components...or at least I cannot find it.
Any suggestions on how to uninstall 4.7 so I can install 5.0?
Maybe I should reinstall WM so it will show up in add/remove
programs...and then MAYBE JUST MAYBE Windows Messenger 4.7 will show up in
add/remove WIN XP Components
WM 4.7 IS WORKING PROPERLY...just want to uninstall it and upgrade to
5.0
