organizing folders alphabetically

How can I get the files and folders windows to ALWAYS
alphabetize by name without going to Details option?
Only in the first level of Windows Explorer do the files
order as such. One or more levels down and they seem
chaotic with the last file used in the last place.

I can find no way to set a default file order preference.
