Does anyone know why when I run XP Pro sp1 that in my add remove list the
hotfixes are listed for SP2 should I delete these fixes or are they
neccesary considering its sp1 Im on? Could this cause compatability probs
with other programs as I have been experiencing some?

Windows Update labels hotfixes as SP2 since they were released after
SP1. There is, of course, no conflict with SP1.

If you wish to safely remove the "uninstall files" for the
Hotfixes (i.e. $NtUninstallQxxxxxx$ files shown in Windows Explorer)=20
and cleanup your Add/Remove Programs list, visit MS-MVP Doug Knox's=20
excellent website for instructions.

Note: Doug's program only removes the uninstall files and Hotfix =
entries
in the Add/Remove Programs listing. It does not remove the=20
actual updates.
