I upgraded my internet connection from dsl to T1. After I
did this I could connect to the internet but my windows
messenger would not sign in. I am sure my hotmail account
is active. I am sure the server is active. I disabled my
firewall temporarily. I uninstalled, reinstalled and
nothing. No error messages. When I try to sign the signin
star burst continue to run but connection never takes
place. Any suggestions?

Also, If I run msn messenger and one of my contacts in
windows messenger logs on would I be able to see them in
msn messenger if I have them as a contact in msn
messenger?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Greetings Suzette,

Yes, to your second question -- both MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger operate on the same
network and use the same accounts. However, does logging into MSN Messenger work?
