Hi -
We downloaded a program and want to delete it (using
Windows XP Home edition). The compuetr says it cannot
delete the file because access is denied. It asks me to
make sure the disk is not full (it is not) or write
protected and that the file is not is use (it is not).

Any ideas what I can do?

Close all applications. Open Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) End the process for
"Explorer.exe" and create new process Explorer.exe.

Now, delete that file. If you are unable to delete, read this:
320081 - You Cannot Delete a File or a Folder
