This just started yesterday. On startup or reboot I get
the message that cthelper.exe has encountered problems
and then the option to send in the error report to MS.
Everything else works just fine. As far as I know I have
not changed anything in my system in the past 48 hours.
Anyone have a idea of how I can fix this so I dont get
the error message anymore on startup?
Thank you for your help

Thank you for your help Richard Urban. That fixed the
problem. I would have been trying to figure this one out
for a while. Never would have guessed cthelper was for
sound blaster. sbhelper or creativehelper sure but not
cthelper.

FWIW, I found out for you by typing the file name into Google. Took all of 5
seconds to get the answer! (-:
