Since networking 2 computers together in my home, my
calcultor is no longer available. Can I get it back?

Networking the 2 computers has nothing to do with not having calc.exe. Are
you sure you don't have the file or is it just that the shortcut is not
working?

Easy work around:

Go to:

http://www.microsoft.com/WINDOWSXP/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

and download and install the Power Calculator, one of the FREE Microsoft
Powertoys for Windows XP, which has even more features than the basic
calculator.

I read on the help page that calcultor doesn't function
sometimes when networking. I do have the exe file, but
the keyboard key doesn't bring it up.

I've never heard anyting about networking having any effect on the
calculator program. Anyhow, just make a new shortcut wherever you need it
(Start menu, Quick Launch Toolbar, Desktop, etc.).

What keyboard key are you referring to that doesn't work anymore?

This reply really doesn't even address the question in the first place. The
OP didn't say he wanted a new and better calculator, he said he couldn't get
the one he already has working.

I usually don't respond to inflammatory posts. This is an exception. I
didn't claim to fix the original problem. The original post was 2 lines and
didn't offer much information. With such little information, rather than
diagnose, I offered a workaround, with the rationale that the OP just wanted
a calculator ASAP. Gee whiz, mea culpa. Often, posters are satisfied by
some of the workarounds posted here. If there's a post that really is a
waste of bandwidth, it's the one I'm responding to now. It didn't offer
anything constructive to either the OP, or others. Sic transit gloria
mundi...
