During startup I hear 5 beeps and monitor fails to turn
on. It almost always turns on after I push the reset
button to reboot the computer.

Your video card may not be seated properly, re-seat it. Or your power supply
may be inadequate.

5 beeps is a post code contact youre computer manafacture
tell them you get a 5 beep post code

Your motherboard is complaining. Try reseating the memory and rebooting. If
that doesn't help, you should consider another motherboard. You could
probably get away with just replacing the CPU, but that's not too
cost-effective. Its just time to upgrade!

Your user guide should explain the meaning of five beeps.
