When I turn my computer on, everything seems to load ok, however once
the icons appear on my desktop, the start bar freezes and my cpu fan
goes on high. When I press cntrl, alt, del, I notice that one of the
svchost.exe files is using 100% of my cpu. When I hit end task, the fan
slows way down but my start bar is still frozen. I can start a program
by clicking an icon on the desktop, but not from the start bar. Can
someone please give me an idea as to what is happening. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Carey, but I can't access the internet with that computer. I am
using this computer to access the internet. Do you have any other
suggestions?
