Ok, I upgraded to XP which is fine but try as I can I cannot remove win
98se. A big annoyance! The strange thing is that all
the CAB files are in upper case. I hope some out there has a solution. I
could really use the spaccce. Thanks Ellen

Hi,
Boot WinXP, delete the Win98SE leftovers from WIndows Explorer (whether it
be left over system folders or the undo.dat file). If a dual boot was
created, you will also need to edit boot.ini and remove the references to it
as well. Boot.ini is a hidden system file on the root of the boot partition,
you may need to enble its viewing under folder options/view tab.
