Windows Media Player - Unknown error

Everytime I try to copy a music cd using WMP 9 I get a message "Windows
media player encountered an unknown error". I never got this when i used WMP
8. Any ideas how I can fix this frustrating problem as I can't copy any
songs to my computer.
