View Full Version : website won't load... everyone else sees it

All day today I have been unable to view the website
www.clipart.com. I have been able to view this site
without a problem for close to 2 years, now all of the
sudden, no luck. I called their support and things are
fine on their end. I asked 3 friends to try and they all
see it. I am not able, nor a laptop (only other comp)
behind the same wireless router on my small network. I
tried installing Mozilla to see if I screwed up a
security setting in IE... no luck. Does anyone have any
ideas as to what may have been tweaked so that I'm no
longer to view the site? It just tries and tries to
load. Never gives an error message "can't find" message.
I tried lowering privacy and security to low just for
kicks... no dice.
Thanks in advance! Going crazy here.

A couple of suggestions
Do you have a 3rd party firewall installed? Settings there may be
causing a problem
I have found a couple of web sites that won't work if you type in
"www....." but DO work if you type in the full address, ie
http://www.... ... wierd??

Thanks John, but still no luck. I disabled the
firewall's firewall, and that's the only thing I had
running (xp's is off). http://www.... didn't work
either. Every possible option. So bizarre.

Try clearing all temporary internet files (incl off line content)
Could also be a glitch in your ISP's cache
