When trying to load some web pages (most!), after a few
seconds of the right page I then get the following page
from 'SearchSprint' stating that there was
a 'Help/Navigation Error - The page you are visiting has
generated an unknown error'. Newbie here so haven't a
clue but it is really irritating! Please can anyone
point me in the right direction?

Hi Alexandra,

You have some sort of browser toolbar installed (the "search sprint" stuff).
You need to see if you can uninstall it via add & remove in the control
panel. Otherwise, try these utilities that help remove garbage:

Adaware www.lavasoft.de
Spybot www.safer-networking.org

Installing this one here can help prevent further system intrusions:
Spyware Blaster: www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
