problem with e-mail just read and help plz

[Case]

Ok... when you first start up. It says how many e-mail
messages you have by your name.. Well i have hotmail as
my main e-mail. There's NO e-mail in there but yet it
still says 357 unread messages where i type my password
in to log on my name on my computer. can you help me? If
you plz e-mail me cuz ill probley get lost and never be
able to find this post again lol
