View Full Version : Saving attachments after updates

When I save attachments the default folder is where I last saved the
previous attachment.
Now after installing a load of updates, when I save an attachment "My
Documents" is now the default folder and even if I choose another folder ,
the next time I save an attachment it goes back to "My Documents"
Anyone know which update may be causing this?

Secondly, some updates state that they cannot be removed. Does this also
mean that they are not removed if I use system restore?

Thanks
Adam

This is a bug in OE. See www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm, Line =
242, Left Column. Set the "Save Attachments" Default in OE.

Additionally, its usually not necessary to cross post to so many groups =
for an answer.
