How would I clear all the recent programs that stay on th "start, run" list
after they are used? I tried the "Clear Recebt Files" program from Kelly's
XP Korner, but it does not seem to clear the used commands.
Thanks

Thanks Carey, but this does not clear the run commands, only the programs on
the "Start Menu".
I want to clear the commands that I have typed in to "Run" line.
EXAMPLE: When I click on start, run, and then type in "msconfig", it stays
on the run line. I want that line blank and do not want it to keep the
recent commands that I have typed in there.

System Security Suite (3S) is the program to remove internet tracks
and junk files from your computer. It allows you to delete Cookies,
clear Internet Explorer Cache, delete index.dat Files, clear Typed URLs,
Windows Temp Folder and much more.

You can delete them from the registry (don't do this if you're not familiar
with the registry), but I don't know of a way to prevent Windows from
remembering what you type in Start->Run...

You'll find the values in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/RunMRU

Delete all but "(Default)". When you reboot, the list should be clear.

Try this instead of run command
--------------
start button
all programs
accessories
prompt command
-------------------
if you use this a lot do right-click on prompt command
and pin to start menu.
create shortcut on desktop and/or drag/drop into launch
area next to start button.
