H-E-L-P!! Something went wrong with my computer and i
had to start it all over again , i lost files (of
course!)..but my problem is...No sounds comes out of my
speakers!! ..i really wanna cry, i kept searching for
what went wrong again.. they speakers are well connected
or installed...I figured maybe its the 'sound card' that
i dont' have and/or driver is it that u call it? and /or
sound device, i don't really know!!! and guys....my Dad
doesn't know.. HE'S GONNA KILL ME!!!!!
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!URGENT!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps. How can i contact the manufacturer,what is the sound
card? how do i get it and where??? augh!!

Another 'killing' - that's what us parents are here for :-))

Can you remember what you did before you lost the sound on your PC? You =
can find the manufacturer of your sound card by going to Start>Run and =
then typing in "msinfo32" - without the quotes. Click on 'Components' =
and then 'Sound Device'. Post back the manufacturer and then someone =
may be able to help you.

You can if the sound card is activated - Start>Control Panel>Sounds and =
Audio Devices>Audio tab - what is listed under 'Sound playback'.

How long have you got before your dad finds out? We'll try and help you =
if we can. If you can't get yourself out of trouble, own up - I'm sure =
that your dad will understand.
