Chat Problems

Can anybody tell me if Yahoo or MSN are experiencing difficulties with their
networks as far as chat rooms are concerned?
Anyone else experiencing the same problems?

I have a new PC with Windows XP Professional.

I have already contacted MSN and they suggested that I reload the Chat
Control Version which I did.
No luck!

I can see that it tries to connect to the chat service but after a few
minutes the following message still appears in a pop-up window:

" NETWORK PROBLEMS ARE PREVENTING YOU FROM CONNECTING TO THE CHAT SERVICE.
PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER"
Can get into MSN Groups but not into any of the private chatrooms of which I
am a registered member.

Can somebody help me please?
