I'm having a new XP PC system and want to know if I can
use this OS on XP. I have a COBOL programming system
which only runs on MS-DOS. Do the screens appear as on WIN
98?
Any advice would be welcome.

Windows XP does not provide a MS-DOS mode like Windows 98 does. You
are left with the virtual DOS machine ("Command Prompt") in Windows.
If the application runs in the DOS box of Windows 98 it may run in the
DOS box of Windows XP as well.
Beside of that you can install MS-DOS paralell to Windows XP if

Windows 95, Windows 98, and MS-DOS"
