Winkey+E ----> crashes all the time

Hi,
When I press the Winkey+E for Explorer / "My Computer" to start, it
crashes all the time and asks me to send an error report to Microsoft.
When I just double click on "My Computer" or start another
WinExplorer by double clicking
on "My Documents" then it works just fine. It only crashes when I use
the Winkey+E shortcut. Can someone suggest how I could fix this or
reinstall explorer.exe ?
