View Full Version : Files N Folder Security on Windows XP

I have windows XP[pro] installed on my computer and
I have formated my 4 gb HDD as NTFS and that is where my OS
is installed, when I go to set permissions for specific
folder or a file! it will not allow me to do i.e. i dont
have an option which says security which I used to find it
on windows 2000 plz help me!

I have a similar problem where I dont have access to the special
permissions. I am the administrator and only user on my computer. Any help
here would be appreciated.

In Explorer, open Tools, Folder Options, View and disable
Simple File Sharing/Security option.
