Autoplay

Everytime I put a CD in my drive it autoplays regardless
of what media is on it, I would like to disable this, I
have looked in the properties of the drive and
selected 'Take No Action' in each media catogory and then
applied but it still seaches the CD when I put it in and
shows the contents of it, is there something else I need
to do?

You can hold down the Shift key until after the CD initializes.

I have now noticed that when I go back and check the
autoplay properties it has defaulted back to 'Prompt me
each time to choose an action' when I know I did apply
the 'Select an action to perform' I can use the shift key
for now so thanks for the info.
