I have a new Celerom 2.0 computer with 60GB hard disk,
divided into C and D. C is about 1/3 full and D is empty.
Should I direct some programs and files (photo's ?) to D ?

Hi,
Yes, but to minimize head thrashing when running programs, you should try to
move data there (such as saved documents and picture files).
