When printing a message the = sign and a number,
typically a "20" or a "3" appears at the end of every
line and the format is not orderly. I've not seen
anything in any manual explaining or even showing this
condition. Anybody seen this or know how to overcome it?
The condition shows up on the screen after an e-mail
message is saved to "My Documents" and then opened later
to send to someoneone else or print.
Also, how do you get text that was put in "Draft" folder
back out to continue writing the message?

Using WinXP on a Dell 2350, Epson C60 printer.

Thanks!

Newsgroup messages can be composed using a variety of formats. Your
newsreader interprets that format and displays the results. When you get
those extra characters, the original message used a format that your
newsreader doesn't entirely understand. Instead of showing a space, a
soft line break or a hard line break, you see extra characters in the
text.

You can try a different newsreader (XP contains Outlook Express) in the
hopes that it interprets the message text better than what you're
currently using. Or, in Notepad or Wordpad, you can use Edit/Replace to
manually edit the messages. Example: Use Replace to search for "=" and
replace it with a space.

Messages in the Draft folder: In the draft folder, double click on the
item you want to edit. This will open the item in the "compose message"
window. When you are ready to send the message, click the Send button on
the window's toolbar.
