switch user

In xp home, when I use "switch user" I get an error message "this program is
already running" . Is this normal?

What program is already running? You may have a program in startup, that is
loading twice and causing this error.

It doesn't say which program....i've had my pc only a couple of days, and
i'm trying out the effects of setting up different users and switching
between them. The only software I've installed is works 2003.
