How do I turn off Windows Messenging Service? I would be interested in
completing wiping out of the system. Is there any reason not to wipe it
out?
If I choose to wipe out, what steps do I take thru Add/Remove Programs and
thru Regedit?
Thank you.

Go to Start/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services. Double click the
Messenger Service and change Automatic to Disabled, then click the Stop
button.
