System restore won't work anymore

I reinstalled windows xp, after I did that the system
works fine except my system restore is "missing". This is
what it said exactly:
"The procedure entry period
RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be located
in the dynamic link library WINSTA.dll"
So please HELP!! :) Thanks.

Hi Kelly,

Absolute best thing to do when SR fails is to disable and reenable it. This
will also mean the loss of all current restore points. Control
Panel/System/SR tab, disable. Then reboot and reverse the steps.

Sorry I didn't get back here sooner - I had forgotten how=20
I got here. I reinstalled xp because I had put in a new=20
hard drive. Something happened (I'm not sure what exactly)=20
and xp didn't work properly, so I reinstalled it just to=20
be safe. So much for being safe, now I don't have system=20
restore!! I don't have any other problems with xp, in fact=20
works great, except for the above problem.
