incoming fax notification

is there any way to get incoming fax notification
in the tray on win xp pro
like envelope tray icon with outlook email

You can enable notifications using the Tracking tab in the Fax printer's
property pages.
You can set whether you require notifications on sending / receiving a fax
and also if you want to monitor the progress of a fax.

Notifications for incoming fax are enabled by default on xp pro - so you
should get them if you receive an incoming fax. At any rate check Fax
Printer properties [Printers and Faxes -> right click on Fax->
Properties->Tracking tab ->check if notifications are enabled]

If it is enabled and you do not still get notifications - install SP1 - that
should fix the issue.

Yes you do get a tray icon for received and unread fax messages.
