"error downloading codecs"

i have recently downloaded a server and i downloaded
several korean videos from there. however, when i try to
play it in windows media or winamp, nothing comes on but
the sound. and it keeps say "error downloading codecs".
can anyone tell me how i can fix this? thank yu
