I have a resolution problem which I have investigated and
have pinned down as follows:
I have an application program whose window, for data entry,
is part of the canned software and not under my control. Up to
about a month ago, when I ran on 800x600, it was too big for my
screen and I lost some on the right. So I had to run it at
1024x768, which was acceptable even though I like bigger
font in the text portions. I don't like sliding the window.....
Somehow, something got changed in my Display software. Now
the appearance, when set for 1024x768, is just what I used to
see when it was set for 800x600.......and in order to get the
cutoff part at the right on-screen, I have to set for 1152x864,
and then my e-mail font etcetera are really tiny.
Question: Is there a way to reload something from the
CD for repair work, that came with this eMachine? Or
even this: is there a test I can perform?
Or can I download something? Drivers?
