Creating a Logon Script for a local user

I need to create a logon script for a local user. I have
created the batch file, and for a while I put it in the
startup group. But it does not always run.
So I thought that I would put it in the users profile. But
XP keeps asking for a valid virtual pathname.
I have the script in a folder on the c drive...
C:\LOGON and have shared the folder out as Logon.
What should my path look like in the user profile.
