I've tried several times to get my machine restart in Safe Mode by following the help instructions:
Click Start, click Shut Down (Turn Off Computer), and click Restart, click OK.
You are supposed to see a message "Please select the operating system to start" which is when you should press the F8 key. I never see that message. I press F8 continuoulsy after clicking OK for Restart but I never get into Safe Mode. Does anyone know w
hy this is happening?
Through "Help and Support" I stumbled upon the System Configuration Utility dialog box. Under the General tab it lists the following Startup Selection:
Normal Startup
Diagnostic Starup
Selective Startup
Is this where I should be to do a Same Mode restart?
I'd be thankful for any XP experts asistance. Thanks
