Was hoping somebody could help. After turning on my
computer, parallel lines (mostly green, but other colors
as well) appear all over and sometime overtake the screen
to the point that i have to reboot. Has anybody ever had
this problem? how do i solve this or am i gonna have to
reformat my hard drive and start all over?????

Kelli,
First things first, make sure you have the latest video drivers for your
video card. Usually things like this are caused by two different things, a
bad video card, or old video drivers. Visit the site of your video card
manufacturer and download/install the latest drivers for said video card. If
you still have the issues, I would think that either you have an overheating
issue with the computer, or your video card is on the way out.
It's also slightly possible you have a bad monitor that is loosing it's
electron tubes...
