I can use the short cut keys I am used to.
Is there a way to turn on the short cut keys?

Which programs are you trying to use the shortcut keys in.
The program must be aware of the keys.
If you are talking about Keyboard Shortcuts, type in that information in
Windows help system and it will give you all the information you need to
know to set up keyboard shortcuts

No there isn't. You can kill the C key but not the Ctrl C key on it's =
own unless you write a program..
