When I open Explorer, I would prefer it to open showing the C drive not My
Documents at top, similar to Win98. How can this be done in XP?

Hi Gerry,
To change the start location for windows explorer:
Right click on the explorer shortcut icon and for the target put in this:
C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\
You can change the C:\ to any place on your computer.
C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,A:\
C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\Program Files
C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\My Documents
C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\Windows
C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,F:\
C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,F:\Downloads
C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,D:\
The possiblities are endless
