I purchased a new Sony computer not long ago and it does
not show a Recycle Bin. I went to download some video
and it told me that my hard drive was almost full. So, I
thought maybe I needed to empty my recycle bin but I
can't find one!! I do find a Norton Protected Recycle
Bin when going into Windows Explorer. I called Sony and
they told me that it was a Norton problem. I contacted
Norton (via E-mail) and it will take 3-4 days for a
response!! So, I am asking for help here.

Hi Pat,

In explorer you will find Norton Protected Recycle bin and
" Recycled " on each drive. The " Recycled " folder is the recycle bin.
Empty it from there. ( Any drive )

When you installed norton it puts its name on the recycle bin if you choose
to protect it with the Unerase feature. That just uses more drive space,
because I think it keeps another copy of everything you delete. check it's
settings. I don't use it.
